After the cancellation of the Teams of Four I was on the look out for a series of matches with some substance and the Viaduct Silver League fitted the bill.
With 44, other like mined angler line up to draw meself, Lee Werrit and Barry Fitchew shared out the last three tickets because we all wanted the last one all the pegs were on Lodge I had 66, Barry opposite on the Monk 64, Lee 72.
Peg 66 is a Carp Flyer which is fish in the Margin down to the trees and the platform 65, after Thursday Match the carp where ravenous this could be a problem. This ended up be true where ever I fed Carp would turn up hooking over 20 in the end it was quick to play them out rather than trashing the rig it amazing how hard and how quick you can pull to land them when they do not count.
End up last but one in my section with 12lb 14oz but my heart was not in it as at the start I slip of the platform smashing the 8 section of my Airity and was drag out by Andy Neal and Don Sutherland thanks to them and also Bela Bakos you had a spare section.
Just been quoted £300 for a new section, fell off my bike last night unable to get my foot out of the pedal and the 3rd accident was 18 eggs for Saturday breakfast smashed on the floor.
All well this week will not be one to remember.
